"MUMBAI 1" single card for public transportation in Mumbai to be launched soon

Maharashtra will soon launch 'Mumbai 1', a unified smart card for Metro, Mono Rail, local trains, and buses in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw announced major infrastructure projects worth over INR 1.9 lakh crore, including new trains, upgraded lines, and a proposed tourist circuit connecting forts linked to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
